Aboriginal Funds for Species at Risk Recovery: Call for Proposals 2008-2009. This week marks the release of the formal call for proposals for the Government of Canada's Aboriginal Funds for Species at Risk http://www.recovery.gc.ca/AFSAR-FAEP/ – the Aboriginal Capacity Building Fund and the Aboriginal Critical Habitat Protection Fund. New for 2008-2009 is an on-line application tool through which applicants may submit their proposals. Interested applicants must contact the Regional Coordinator to obtain a User ID and password to submit their proposal. The regional coordinator will set up the account and then forward the instructions of how to access the system.
